Diffuser shall be of the square-face, round neck design,
complete with integral thermally powered thermostats and sliding sleeve type VAV
control dampers. Finish shall be white enamel.

Units shall be of nominal 24 inch x 24-inch face size for
lay-in installation in a standard exposed grid ceiling suspension system. Neck
diameters shall be as shown on plans or as scheduled, and shall be considered as
minimum size.

Diffusers shall have appearance panel consisting of a back
pan and four flanged side plates with mitered corners for installing tile.

Temperature set points shall be field adjustable from the
face of the diffuser through a temperature range 70 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit.
The static pressure operating range is .02-.5 in. WG. (Optional: diffusers shall
also be fitted with a second thermal actuator to automatically change from VAV
cooling to constant volume heating with a field adjustable damper position from
full open to any lower setting. Change over actuation shall occur when the
supply air temperature is 78 degrees or above for heating and 65 degrees or
lower for cooling.

Diffusers using disk, plate or diffusion blade type dampers
will not be acceptable.

Diffusers shall be model VFS24D as manufactured by Thermal
Products Corporation of Tucson, AZ. or prior approved equal.
