Often with job conditions and changes in use, take blade, diffusers become oversized
and required field adjustments. Conventional dampering devices i.e. opposed
blade dampers, and butterfly dampers, reduce the discharge velocity and can
dramatically affect the diffuser performance, and increase the sound
level. The optional exclusive "ring damper" can guarantee the
performance of the air distribution system and offer flexibility beyond the
capability of conventional designed diffusers.
The "ring damper," when adjusted from maximum to minimum, varies the Ak factor.
As a result, the "adjusted diffuser" will still maintain the discharge pattern,
throw and secondary air circulation required to maintain desired air
distribution.
To enhance the ceiling system, an architectural version is available
which allows aa ceiling tile to be inserted in the diffuser panel. An
appearance panel is also available with matching silk screen, or a perforated
plate version.
Optional baffle kits are available to alter the discharge
pattern.
