TEMPERATURE CONTROL |

|
The Vari-Flow™ linear diffuser has the thermal element located in the
isolated induction chamber. A small amount of the primary air is discharged
through the chamber creating a negative pressure that induces room air past
the thermal element at all times. This assures a rapid response to changes in
the room temperature.
Temperature adjustment is conveniently accessed from the face of the unit.
Adjustment is made with a standard slot screwdriver. Multiple slot units
have a single temperature adjustment. |

WARM-UP FEATURE (optional) |

|
Units equipped with the optional warm-up feature have a warm-up element
located on the operating mechanism in the plenum of the units. The units goes
into the warm-up mode when the supply air temperature is 78° degrees Fahrenheit
or higher. The warm-up element senses the elevated supply air temperature and
opens the damper (s). The unit will change back to VAV cooling when the supply
air temperature drops below 70° degrees Fahrenheit.
