Diffusers shall be linear type with integral
thermally powered thermostats. The plenum of the unit shall be insulated with ˝
inch 2lb density fiberglass duct liner. Finish shall be white enamel.

Units shall be nominal face size for
installation in a standard exposed grid ceiling suspension system. Number of
slots, direction of flow, nominal length, and neck diameter shall be as shown
on the plans as schedule, and shall be considered as minimum size.

The thermal element shall be field adjustable through the face of diffuser
through a temperature range of 70-78 degrees Fahrenheit. Diffusers having
multiple room temperature adjustments are noT acceptable. Optional: diffusers
shall also be fitted with a second thermal actuator to automatically open all
dampers fully on a warm-up cycle. Warm up actuation shall occur when the supply
air temperature is 78 degrees Fahrenheit or above.

Diffusers shall be as manufactured by Thermal Products Corp.of Tucson,
AZ. or prior approved equal.
